About Mila

Mila Byeon is a New York based, 500 hour certified meditation, yoga and wellness instructor, who has been teaching a wide range of clients all over the world, including yoga teachers, clients from wall street, the fashion industry, dancers, artists, students, and children in person and online.

She grew up in South Korea studying Buddhism regularly hearing the wisdom of great monks from a very young age and continuously studied Sanatana Dharma through Amma’s teachings while being in the wellness and beauty industries for 20 years in the USA: NYC, LA, VT and Hawaii, and abroad in South Korea and Sweden.

From sharing what she learned from wonderful teachers who practiced Hatha, Iyengar, and Ashtanga yoga traditions and focusing on her own spiritual journey, she emphasizes that the most important thing in daily life is the practice of the mind. As a disciplined practitioner and a teacher, her passion is to guide customized sessions using various traditional meditation and mindfulness techniques ,yoga asanas, and positive therapy to each individual or groups in all levels. This allows the client to fully experience the scientific benefits of yoga and meditation such as : a relaxed mind and body, sharpened intuition, and increased confidence and positivity.

Mila says,

“My goal as a teacher is that everyone who steps into my class leaves with a deep sense of peace and silence, and a feeling of healed mind.”

She is currently in New York, and is offering various 1:1 online and in-person sessions.
